Alison Covington — Ellsworth Township Fiscal Officer
I’m honored to serve as the Fiscal Officer for Ellsworth Township and am grateful for the opportunity to give
back to the community where I grew up. My family has been connected to Ellsworth since 1984, and I’m
excited to bring my professional experience in business, financial management, operations, leadership, and

About Me
I returned to Ellsworth in 2021 with my three children after spending 14 years in North Carolina. We renovated
our house at 7323 Rolling Hills Drive. I’m proud to once again call Ellsworth home and to be raising my
children in the same community where I grew up.
I graduated from Western Reserve High School in 2001 and went on to attend The Ohio State University,
earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Business in 2005. I later earned my Master of Business
Administration from Strayer University in 2009 while working full-time.
Work & Community
● I began my professional career with TJ Maxx in 2005 as an Assistant Store Manager. In 2015, I was promoted
to Store Manager and led the grand opening of the Wake Forest, NC TJ Maxx. I retired from TJ Maxx in 2024
after 24 years with the company; started as a Merchandise Associate at the Boardman location in 2000.
● Before retiring, I began substitute teaching with the Mahoning County ESC and later joined Western Reserve
Local Schools as a substitute teacher.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring my experience back to Ellsworth Township and use it to help our
community. I look forward to continuing to improve organization, efficiency, and record keeping while being a
responsible steward of Township resources.

My office is located inside the Ellsworth Township Administration Building located at 6036 S. Salem Warren Rd,     (St Rt. 45, 1/3 rd mile North of Rt. 224) next to the Zoning inspector's office. My entrance is from inside the building. Hours are by appointment. I am frequently in my office and more than willing to discuss our Townships fiscal issues anytime.
